Application

In navigation, angles are used to designate the course of a plane, a ship etc. Note that a navigator's compass is marked in degrees in clock wise direction, with 600 at due north (see fig). So to understand phrases like 'the object is on the course of 900' in what direction the plane or boat is headed ? We must use the navigator's notations.
