Applications Of Right Triangles
In many applications, certain angles are reffered by special names.
Two of these are "angle of elevation" and "angle
of depression".
Angle of elevation : If the object is placed
at higher level then the angle made by the straight line joining
the object and the observer with the horizontal through observer,
is called the angle of inclination or angle of elevation.
Angle of depression : It is the anlge made by a
straight line joining the object and the eye of the observer, with
the horizontal through the eye of the observer when the object is
placed at lower level.
