1899 - U.S. proposes the Open Door Policy.

1904 - Theodore Roosevelt-President Policy.

1905 - Russo-Japanese War.

1912 - Woodrow Wilson made President.

1915 - The Congress adopts the Glass-Owen Bill to set up the Federal Reserve System.


For the next 20 years, the U.S. witnessed a period of prosperity. This was mainly due to rapid growth and expansion of transportation. Besides this period also saw great changes in the socio-economic and cultural sphere of America.
