PRACTICE TEST 1
Section III : Analytical Section
Explanatory Answers.
-
A According to the first condition when only switch A is turned on, switch B should be switched on. Hence in the second setting of this condition, C will be the only switch off. Hence the question applies to the second condition. Therefore it follows that in the second setting it will be A on B on and C on.
As per condition 1.
-
C According to the statement : For any other initial setting, turn on all switches that are off and turn off all switches that are on. Therefore if A is off, B on and C off, the second setting will be A on, B off, C on.
B In case all three switches are on in the initial setting, then in the second setting only C will be off. As it follows from the third condition given. i.e. A on, B on, C off.
