But she is a gossipmonger. She has her own flings with Kennicott but never hesitates to gossip about others. She is a member of Jolly Seventeen and the Thanatopsis. The Elders Owners of the planning mill and the Minnniemashie House. Mrs. Elder is a member of the prestigious Jolly Seventeen. Mr. Elder loves hunting.
