The second scene of Act I takes place on a street in London where Falstaff exchanges witticisms with his page. Scene 3 begins in the palace of Richard Scroop, Archbishop of York where the leaders unite to have a council of war to determine the course of events. Act II starts with a scene in Eastcheap, near the BoarÂ’s Head Tavern. Scene 3 of Act II is NorthumberlandÂ’s Castle in Warkworth where a heart-moving conversation takes place between Northumberland, Lady Northumberland and Lady Percy. Scene 4 is in The BoarÂ’s Head Tavern, wherein the Prince and Poins disguise themselves as two lowly drawers to eavesdrop on Falstaff without being discovered. Act III begins with a scene in the Palace in Westminster. Scene 2 is in Justice ShallowÂ’s house in Gloucestershire. Act IV begins with a scene within the Forest of Gaultree where the rebel leaders are waiting to hear more news about the royal forces led by Prince John of Lancaster. The first three scenes of Act IV take place in different parts of the same forest. The fourth scene is King HenryÂ’s room, known as the Jerusalem Chamber in Westminster, where the King is lying. Act V begins with a scene in Justice ShallowÂ’s house in Gloucestershire. The second scene is the palace at Westminster. The third scene setting is ShallowÂ’s orchard in Gloucestershire.
