Iphigenia

The infant daughter of Clymenestra and Agamemnon. She is killed by Agamemnon as a sacrifice, to ensure a safe voyage to Troy.

Helen

The sister of King Agamemnon. She suffers, as she does not have a happy married life.

HelenÂ’s husband

He is unable to handle his wife or give her any happiness.

Menalaus

ClymenestraÂ’s sisterÂ’s husband.


Apollo

A Greek god who tells Orestes to kill his mother.

Priam

The King of Troy. He is killed by Agamemnon in the Trojan War.

Cassandra

Princess of Troy. Agamemnon brings her to Argos as his concubine after he wins the Trojan war.
